Where Are Our Blankets Made?

Crafted in the USA by those who get that coziness (and fur) are key!

How are our blankets made and what are they made of?

Fleece Sherpa

Made from 100% polyester fleece, this blanket is strong, soft, and built to last. It holds its shape, dries quickly, and features neatly hemmed edges for extra durability. The advanced printing process ensures vibrant, crisp colours that stay bright wash after wash.

Woven

Our woven blankets are crafted from high-quality cotton threads dyed in-house for long-lasting colour and strength. Rather than being printed, your design is woven directly into the fabric using a jacquard process — creating texture, depth, and detail you can feel. Each blanket is finished with a multicoloured fringe for that timeless, handcrafted look.

Velveteen Plush

Made from 100% polyester, this plush blanket is luxuriously soft and smooth to the touch. It’s lightweight yet warm, dries quickly, and holds its shape beautifully — perfect for cozy nights in or lazy mornings with your Shepherd.

How do I care for my blanket?

When your blanket arrives, we recommend giving it a quick wash to remove any pre-treatment scent — totally normal and gone after the first wash.

All our blankets can be machine washed cold (max 30°C / 90°F) on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. For best results, wash separately and avoid bleach or fabric softeners.

If the weather’s good, they’ll love a bit of fresh air drying. Otherwise, tumble dry on low heat works just fine.

We don’t recommend dry cleaning or ironing — keep it simple and your blanket will stay soft, colourful, and cozy for years.

From Cart to Couch

Can my order be gift-wrapped?

Not just yet — we don’t currently offer gift wrapping or gift messages, but it’s something we’re working on. (Because a blanket this good deserves a bow.)

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your blanket is on its way.

If your order hasn’t arrived within our standard delivery times and all address details are correct, email us at germanshedders@gmail.com with your order number and we’ll chase it up faster than a Shepherd after a tennis ball.

Can I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at germanshedders@gmail.com with your order number.

If production hasn’t started yet, we can usually stop it — but once your blanket hits the loom or print line, it’s too late to pull it back. (They’re a fast bunch.)

Do you offer refunds?

Because our blankets are made-to-order and often personalised, we can’t offer refunds for change of mind.

If there’s an issue with your order, just reach out to us within 7 days of receiving it.

Can I exchange my blanket for a different size?

We don’t offer exchanges, as each blanket is made individually when you order.

There’s a problem with my product — what should I do?

Oh no! We’re sorry something’s gone wrong.

Please email germanshedders@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your blanket and include your order number, photos, and details of the issue. We’ll sort it out quickly so you can get back to your cozy life.

Where do you ship from?

All of our blankets are proudly made and shipped from the USA — crafted with care, quality, and a bit of Shepherd spirit.

Which countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and a selection of European countries, including:

Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Cyprus, and Greece.

We’re working to expand even further — because loyalty, comfort, and good design deserve to be shared worldwide.

How long does shipping take?

Every blanket is made to order, so production begins right after your purchase.

If you’ve ordered a personalised design, we’ll finalise your artwork and send it to production within 24 hours.


  • USA: 5–10 business days

  • Outside the USA: 10–30 business days

While most orders arrive sooner, international parcels can occasionally pause in customs before continuing their journey. If you’re ordering for a special occasion, please allow extra time — or email germanshedders@gmail.com and we’ll help you plan your delivery window.

Will I be charged customs or import fees?

Orders shipped within the USA have no customs or import charges.

For international orders, local customs fees or taxes may apply depending on your country’s policies. These aren’t within our control, so we recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.
