Hi, I'm Kat

I'm a mum of two, a lifelong shepherd person and the one behind German Shedders.

After raising my two kids, I wanted to get back to work. The problem? I couldn't bear the thought of leaving my dogs all day. So I started a business that lets me be home with them — even if my keyboard is permanently covered in fur.

German Shedders grew from that love of these dogs and the joy of sharing our everyday experiences with other people who get it.

The Ones Who Came Before

Zeus and Xena aren't my first shepherds. I've shared my life with six shepherds over the years. Each one had their own quirks, their own personality and a special place in our family.
